BabyTracker ("the App") is a newborn tracking app that helps families log feedings, diaper changes, and weight measurements. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

• Display Name: The name you enter when setting up the app. This is shared with family members you invite.
• Baby Information: Baby's name, date of birth, and tracking logs (feedings, diapers, weight) that you enter.
• Device Token: A push notification token used solely to deliver notifications about your baby's care activities.
• Anonymous Account ID: Firebase Anonymous Authentication creates a random identifier — no email, password, or personal information is required.

How We Use Your Data

• To sync baby tracking data in real time between family members.
• To send push notifications when a family member logs an activity or when a feeding reminder is due.
• We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.

Data Storage

All data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore) and is protected by security rules that restrict access to authorized family members only.

Data Sharing

Your baby's tracking data is shared only with family members who join using your unique invite code. No data is shared with third parties.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as you use the app. If you wish to delete your data, please contact us at the email below and we will remove all associated data within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

The App is designed for parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The baby information entered is provided by the parent/caregiver.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
